http://insidebitcoins.com/news/bitcoin-users-vulnerable-to-android-stagefright-2-0-bug/35119

It's called the stagefright bug and it looks like a patch is currently being developed for it.

I think a lot of people, myself included, really ignore viruses and security issues on our phones and tablets, whereas go above and beyond to protect our files on our personal computers.

Thanks for the heads up.  I'll keep my eyes peeled for anything fishy with my phones.  Any idea of an antivirus will scan for it correctly?  I'm a little paranoid now.

I'm kind of surprised that a lot of people have their wallets on their phones.  I can't convince myself to do it.  I'd be too afraid of getting my phone stolen, and therefore my bitcoin compromised.
